about me

I’m honored to support families through the journey of parenting—work that calls us to grow, reflect, and (re)connect again and again.

As a parent of two teenagers—one biological and one bonus child—I know parenting as both joy and apprenticeship: a daily practice in patience, humor, and love that connects us all.

I am Oakland born and raised. I now find balance on the trails of Wildcat, where nature lends me perspective and possibility- this is where I do my best thinking. My mixed, queer, and social justice-oriented perspective shapes my work, grounding me in curiosity, gratitude, quick-wit and care.

In coaching, I listen deeply and offer tools that are both practical and reflective. I see myself as a teammate—helping you notice what’s already strong and growing that within your family. I carry creative strategies to nurture and grow values that are important to you. Inevitably, we will cry together and laugh too. Oh, parenting.

With over two decades supporting children and parents from diverse backgrounds—as a teacher, early reading interventionist, and Montessori school administrator—I bring deep knowledge of early childhood, motivation, and the power of relationship. Still, my greatest teachers are my own two wonderfully spirited teens.
